QLC May Lift Session - Exploring the Scapular Plane
This session is extra special!
We are splitting into two distinct groups: One for those who are keen to get into the nerdy side of movement, unpacking all things scapular movement/stability. And the other group will have a structured workout focused on the same principles, but will go through the motions self-directed (perfect for those who want a challenge and have some lifting experience already).
For group one, we will be studying movement and doing a guided upper body mobility exercise. Then, we will retry the initial overhead movement and notice any changes. After, you will have the time to build up some volume and try other implements before we head over to The Clove for brunch!

Can’t join for the lift session? No problem! You’re still welcome to come join for a delicious brunch in Q-munity!

Monthly QLC Lift - Squat Session!
Every month we meet as a group for a facilitated community lift session!
March is Squat day!
This workout will feature all types of squats, and will be catered to all skill and accessibility levels.
Allies are encouraged to bring a donation to help ensure queer folx continue to have access to inclusive spaces. Funds are used for group fees including pay-it-forward meals for those who do not have the funds to participate in our group brunch.

Strongman Saturday
Join Bradeen and Rory for a small group training session on February 28!
This session will focus on Strongman implements, and will have options for all skill levels.
$10 for gym members and coaching clients.
$20 for non-members.
All funds will go toward new equipment and hosting sick comps!

Boxing at Whiz Bang (Salmon Arm, BC)
We have limited space for this event and it is sure to be a fun one!
Note: You need to complete the entire checkout process to reserve your spot. The waiver does not act as a reservation. Event is set to a maximum capacity of 12 via the ticketing system.
Join us for a boxing class hosted by Whizbang Boxing in Salmon Arm, on Sunday February 22 from 10:30am - 12pm (we recommend coming a bit early to find parking).
This event is being offered free and allies are encouraged to bring a donation for our hosts as an affirmative action, ensuring inclusive spaces remain open to Queer folks in athletics and strength sports.
